No matter what level of teacher you are and what your students levels/genres/issues are you will come home with some absolute teaching gems. You will also feel part of a non-judgemental community of teachers which is very important in such an isolated profession.

Very exciting! I had a lesson today with a 3rd yr student who really struggles with tuning at the top of his range and is always just under the top notes. Tried some of Jeremy’s tuning tips and his pitching was spot on and the tone was greatly improved too! His response at the end of the lesson was “I feel like I’ve just had the most miraculous experience!!”. Wow! Thanks Jeremy and Gillyanne!!

Had a lesson today which was epic thanks to the ‘find the problem and solve it’ rule. There were issues with resonance, pressure, aspiration, articulation and pitching…I’m pretty sure she blew her own mind with the sound she made when we sang the same song again 5 minutes later. Every blimmin’ problem = sorted.
